UV SHG CAVITY

  • A compact frequency quadrupling module that extends the range of SolsTiS output wavelengths to produce narrow linewidth, tunable output in the ultraviolet.
 /

SolsTiS ECD-X Q extends the range of the SolsTiS platform into the deep UV providing unrivalled power and tuning. SolsTiS ECD-X-Q is used in combination with the ECD X doubling cavity (wavelength ranges between 210–250 nm) or the EMM mixing module (wavelength ranges between 250–300 nm).

CONVERSION EFFICIENCY

Conversion efficiencies of up to 5% > 1 W input for 420-500 nm wavelengths.

BROAD WAVELENGTH COVERAGE

Interchangeable mounted crystal packages are available
for different wavelengths. Each crystal offers 6 nm of tuning and it’s easy to interchange these crystals for extended coverage.

MULTIPLE SPOTS PER CRYSTAL

Unique click and shift system provides multiple spots per crystal to prolong its usage with no effect on beam pointing or quality.

HIGHLY STABLE LOCK

SolsTiS ECD-X-Q features a highly stable lock to the doubler.

EXCELLENT BEAM QUALITY

SolsTiS ECD-X-Q features exceptional beam conditioning optics <1.3 M2.

OPTOMECHANICAL STABILITY

It’s the only doubling cavity system built on an Invar baseplate to provide maximum stability.

LOW INTERNAL HUMIDITY

The desiccant cavity reduces internal humidity with no requirement for purging.

EASY TO CONTROL

An easy to use web interface controls fine wavelength tuning (automatic tracking of fundamental frequency scans) and locking. Alternatively, you can use a published set of TCP/IP controls for third party applications such as LabVIEW and MATLAB.

Doubling Efficiency 5% >500 mW input for 420-500 nm wavelengths
10% >1 W input for 420-500 nm wavelengths
Tuning Range 420-500 nm
Crystals +/- 3 nm at centre of operation
General
Operating temperature range 16-30
Maximum relative humidity 80% non-condensing, up to 30
Laboratory requirements Mount on optical table with air free of dust
(Laminar airflow box recommended)

TRUSTED BY THE WORLDS’ LEADING UNIVERSITIES
AND RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS

M Squared’s lasers are both remarkable in their performance and beautiful in their design. They have enabled my Group’s research over the last decade and will continue to transform many areas of science and technology.
